The brother of a friend asks me if I can clean his computer :-of course! The difference between a mechanical hard drive and SSD is so blatant that it is enough for me largely. The kit that I received is with only the hard drive without a rack for a parsec fixed... Installed directly in a PC laptop to find a second wind (before you buy a new PC to try an SSD it is life-changing). Installation on I Mac 2009 without difficulties. Array recognized without a problem on first boot. Effectiveness in line with my expectations. Recognized upon installation, they allow to fully exploit the Windows which is quite changed; a gain of visible responsiveness of your applications is always appreciated. Your PC will not go "faster" (it is the processor that decides), but it does not "romero" more in expectation of a release of a few Mb of Ram and your hard drive will be less in demand! The price/quality ratio is excellent and allows, at lower cost, to wait serenely the future Windows 8 or switch to Windows 7 (if your pc allows!) and save the euros for the acquisition of a new future pc :-) Well packaged, arrived in a timely manner, operating without the problem... what more to ask? It would seem that the drive has suffered from bad series and this is not very engaging at the time of purchase. In addition, some users claim that the range of Red is technically not very different from the range green and that the price difference is not justified. No need to spend on Samsung or other SSD more expensive.. Very good for its size and very effective in functionality. I use it to record stream HDMI from all sources (vidéocam...) Attention to the sources DTT receiver, from tntsat all free flow (ARTE, Francexx) are hit with a copywrite as if it were a movie! The whole thing is well protected in a plastic bag with shock absorbers in order not to damage the burner (see photos). The burner is very well finished and is very pretty to my taste. I had initially trouble to detect my burner by my various computers because I plugged in the front ports and they were unfortunately not enough power to make it work properly. After you have plugged in the drive, it is detected instantly (tested with Windows 10). I've been able to play several CD and DVD without any worries. I also burned a DVD at 8X speed. The burner is based on a circle of rubber that helps make it stable when burning. I recommend this product has a good quality/price ratio.
